Jeremy and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - A graphic adventure
for younger children by John Hileman. Version 1.0. It was
written in TaleSpin and the graphics were created in NeoChrome.
This program is in the public domain. It may be freely
distributed as long as the program and this documentation are not
altered in any way.
Program and documentation Copyright 1990 by John Hileman.
This game must be used in conjunction with the public domain
program TELLTALE.TOS. To start the game, double click on
TELLTALE.TOS. This game, START.TAL will load and run automatically.
If you have other Talespin adventures on the same disk, the name of
this game should be changed to something else (TURTLES.TAL is
recommended). The game will run from either low or medium
resolution.
In order to make this game self booting (recommended), format a
disk. Create an auto folder and place put the program HEADST11.PRG
(Headstart) in it. Create a HEADSTRT.DAT file using your favorite
word processor in ASCII mode as follows:
A:\TELLTALE.TOS
Copy TELLTALE.TOS and START.TAL to the root directory. Now when
this disk is inserted into drive A and the computer is turned on
the program will run automatically. This makes the game much
easier for children.
Once the game starts, the left button is used to click on various
objects. When clicked on certain objects, a dialog "balloon"
will appear. When the mouse is passed over a balloon, a portion
or portions may highlight. The mouse must be clicked on a highlighted
portion for the game to continue.
In some cases, two different sentences will highlight in the balloon,
giving the user a choice. One of these should be clicked on. Depending
on the choice made, the game will take a different direction.
The right mouse button will allow a game to be saved or to quit. If
you inadvertently press the right mouse button, just move the mouse
pointer to another area of the screen and press the left button.
Custom versions (with a different childs name and different hair
color are available). A Peter Pan TaleSpin game is also
available. For a customized version please send $7.00 for each
one desired to:
